An E-Ticket is an Electronic Ticket and the majority of airlines worldwide offer these which means that you do not receive a paper ticket. Instead, your travel confirmation is held in a computerised ticketing system and you are issued with an airline reference number.

When you receive your itinerary it will contain the airline reference number. Once you have this, you should then go to the airline’s website and enter your Advance Passenger Information (A.P.I), in other words – your passport and contact details. You will be able to check-in online and print your boarding card(s) off up to 24 hours before departure from the comfort of your home. Alternatively, you can use the self-service check-in machines offered by most major airlines at the airport and avoid long queues at manual check-in desks.

Many countries require your passport to be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of travel. For further information regarding passports including eligibility, fees, applying, renewing and updating please visit: www.gov.uk/browse/abroad/passports

Yes. We highly recommend that you take out travel insurance. It covers you from the day you take it out until the end of your holiday, just in case something happens either before you travel or while you are abroad.

Why not click on our insurance tab and get a free quote? If you travel a few times a year it might be worth looking at a multi-trip policy.

There are many types of cover. Some are just medical and others cover baggage, delays etc. Please make sure that you choose the correct policy that suits your needs.

Unless your reservation is paid in full at the time of booking, there is a chance that you will be charged additional taxes or surcharges. Governments can put airport taxes up and airlines can add fuel surcharges at any time.
